Notice for entering the park

Yunnan Snub-nosed Monkey National Park Visitor Notice

  Dear Visitors:

Welcome to Yunnan Snub-nosed Monkey National Park! Please read this notice carefully before entering the park.

  I. Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys and giant pandas are both known as national treasures in the animal kingdom, both belonging to the national first-class endangered species. They are our friends, the elves of the mountains, and the most beautiful primates... For their survival and prosperity, for their continued existence, and for the preservation of their beauty, please purchase tickets to enter the park.

II. Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys are completely wild monkey groups, not captive-bred. Their migration, foraging, and habitat range is large, so even after purchasing tickets to enter the park, you cannot be sure that you will be able to see them. If you are unlucky and do not see them, the company regrets this, but will not refund tickets.

III. Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys are the most beautiful primates in the world. They share a common ancestor with humans. To ensure the health of both you and the monkeys and to avoid the transmission of diseases between humans and monkeys, please maintain a distance of 5-10 meters.

IV. The best time to observe Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys is 9:30-12:30. Please leave the park before 12:00 and do not stay any longer.

  V. When observing Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys, please do not litter and strictly prohibit feeding the monkey groups.

VI. When observing Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys, please do not frequently open and close umbrellas, do not wear red raincoats, and strictly prohibit loud noises, shouting, and fighting.

VII. Do not bring fire, do not smoke, and protect the flowers, plants, and trees in the park. Do your best to create a beautiful home for the national treasure. VIII. The park has high mountains, steep slopes, and dangerous winding roads. Drivers are requested to drive cautiously and pay attention to traffic safety at all times.

IX. It is strictly forbidden to throw stones, soil, branches, and other foreign objects at the monkey group. When the monkey group is resting, it is strictly forbidden to drive them away.

  X. When entering the park, please follow the instructions of the interpreter and do not leave the group privately to avoid getting lost and causing unnecessary trouble.

XI. Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys are completely wild animals, and the monkey groups in the park have not been artificially domesticated, so getting too close is unsafe. The appropriate viewing distance is 5-10 meters. Exceeding this distance will be extremely dangerous.

XII. Curiosity may lead your children away from you. For safety and to avoid unnecessary trouble, please take good care of your children.

XIII. After arriving by car, there will be a section of mountain road that is impassable by car and you will need to walk. Please pay attention to safety. If there are elderly or young children, please assist them.

XIV. When taking close-up photos of the monkey group, try to avoid using flash to prevent startling the monkeys.
