Travel route

　　The Shangri-La Yunnan Golden Monkey National Park is part of the Baima Snow Mountain Nature Reserve. It is located in Weixi Tacheng Town, Deqen Prefecture. The following are the transportation options to the scenic area:

　　Passenger buses: (1) Shangri-La - via Nixi (Tu Tao Village) - Tacheng (approximately 135 kilometers, 3 hours required)

　　(2) Lijiang - via Shigu (First Bend of the Yangtze River) - Weixi Tacheng (approximately 170 kilometers, 4 hours required)

　　Tourist chartered vehicles: You can go to "Jincheng Square" in Lijiang or find a minivan heading towards Qizong.

　　Self-driving: Shangri-La - via Nixi (Tu Tao Village) - Tacheng (approximately 135 kilometers, 3 hours required)

　　Lijiang - via Shigu (First Bend of the Yangtze River) - Weixi Tacheng (approximately 170 kilometers, 4 hours required)

　　Scenic area opening hours:

　　8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (closes at 11:30 AM)

　　Entrance fee: 70 yuan/person, scenic area sightseeing bus fee 50 yuan/person (purchase at the ticket office at the entrance of the scenic area)

　　(Warm reminder: Golden monkeys are purely wild animals. There are multiple monkey viewing points in the scenic area. Please follow the instructions of the staff when entering the scenic area.)

　　Accommodation:

　　The scenic area has hotels with ethnic characteristics. If you wish, you can stay in the scenic area and enjoy being close to nature and waking up to the sound of birds.
