Xiangguqing is a Lisu village located in the Lapu Valley. The area receives abundant rainfall in the summer, resulting in lush vegetation. The mountaintops are often shrouded in mist, creating a scene resembling a fairyland. This unique environment nurtures the "red-lipped elves"—Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys. The caretakers are locals who possess many stories about the monkey king's family, offering deeper insights into the social life of this primate species, one of the closest to humans.
